Duties
- Safely operate commercial trucks and freight vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams.
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting if issues arise during transit.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe transportation of freight.
- Assist with warehouse duties such as inventory management or equipment operation as required.
Skills
- Valid AZ commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or other industrial machinery is preferred.
- Knowledge of freight handling, loading, and unloading procedures.
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on trucks or equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and dispatchers.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments.
