Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and assembling dishes
- Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station
- Serve dishes promptly and efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management
- Follow proper food safety protocols at all times, including proper storage and sanitation practices
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal presentation
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail in food quality
- Strong understanding of the food industry and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
