Mississauga Oakville Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital's Neurology department welcomes a dependable and professional team member looking for a challenging and rewarding career as a Veterinary Receptionist, Client Care Coordinator. This full-time opportunity includes a range of responsibilities and learning opportunities, geared toward exemplary client service with our clients and referring Veterinarians.
Responsibilities and Qualities:
Excellent customer service skills; a real aptitude for putting pets and pet parents at ease and creating a welcoming environment
Ability to work through client concerns with empathy and resolution
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
The ability to proactively assist with patient care is an asset
Flexibility to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
Willingness to learn more regarding veterinary services and the care to appropriately triage cases, coordinate access to care in a timely fashion and continue to grow in the role
Manage phone and email correspondence with clients and referring veterinarians to build trusting relationships
Internal office communication and medical records management
Reviewing invoicing/billing with clients; creating estimates and processing payments
General housekeeping duties; cleanliness of reception area, pet holding areas, and common areas
Veterinary medical knowledge, previous ACA and or Client Care experience in a Veterinary setting an asset

Have a love for all companion animals!!
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
