Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, altering, and repairing garments to ensure they meet our clients' specifications and standards. Duties
- Measure clients accurately and discuss their clothing needs and preferences
- Cut fabric and patterns according to specifications
- Sew, alter, and repair garments with precision and attention to detail
- Ensure all finished products meet quality standards and fit requirements
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding adjustments and timelines
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and manage sewing tools and equipment responsibly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of orders
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a tailor or in a similar garment alteration role is preferred
- Basic math skills for measurements, pattern adjustments, and fabric calculations
- Strong customer service skills to understand client needs and provide professional guidance
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently
- Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Prior experience with sewing machines, pattern making, or fabric selection is a plus
