The primary responsibility is screening of patients before the doctor's exam. This includes instilling eye drops, taking a history, ocular pressure , and OCT scans, and taking photos. Basic computer skills are required.
One year experience in performing OCTs is required for this job.
Secondary duties include room setup, assisting with procedures, cleaning equipment, and sterilizing instruments. Also includes pulling and filing charts, handling patient bookings and inquiries.
A team approach and assisting other team members is a necessity.
A professional and respective behaviour towards patients and fellow team members is mandatory.
Position includes 2 to 4 days per week.
