We are currently seeking skilled and detail-oriented General Labourers to join our dynamic team.
Job Summary:
NV Piping Systems Inc. is looking for a hardworking and detail-oriented General Labourer to join our team. This role involves assisting in the fabrication and assembly of stainless steel pipe spools, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and performing various hands-on tasks to support shop operations.
Responsibilities:
- Clean welds of slag and spatter using hand tools such as grinders and wire brushes.
- Assemble and bolt pipe spools according to work instructions.
- Pack and skid pipe spools for shipping.
- Perform hydrostatic testing on pipe spools as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company work instructions, procedures, and policies.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist welders, fitters, and other trades as required.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform general material handling, including moving, lifting, and positioning pipe spools and other materials.
- Other general labour duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Experience using hand and power tools is an asset.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment is an asset but not required.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
