Looking to hire a caring and responsible individual to provide personal support to adults with Mental illness in a group home in St Thomas. Start ASAP.
Shifts are weekday afternoons, 3-11pm Saturday and Sunday day (7am-3pm) or afternoon shifts (3pm-11pm), and occasionally weekday day shifts (7am-3pm). There will not be a regular schedule to start,as we are in need of causal staff to cover vacation and call-in time. As a position becomes available this candidate will be considered first though.
First aid, CPR, and current criminal record vulnerable screening check required. We will cover the expense of this.
PSW training/ experience, and experience with mental health support is an asset but not required.
Duties include cooking, cleaning, record keeping, medication supervision And communicating with community mental health supports and hospital.
