Hours of Work: Weekdays; Days, 8hrs; As per schedule
The role of the COVID Safety Coordinator is to support physical distancing strategies at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. The posting will be for 6 months with potential renewal at the end of the term.
Conduct observations for physical distancing (ie. Overcapacity)
Educate staff and visitors on importance of physical distancing and proper mask use
Assist COVID Safety Staff in managing safe elevator occupancy with physical distancing guidelines as needed
Support implementation and monitoring of physical distancing strategies
The COVID Safety Coordinator will rotate to other campuses (transportation provided)
Other duties as required
CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training required, experience with de-escalation is preferred
Availability to work Monday to Friday
Willingness to wear protective apparel as per policy

Demonstrated ability to work co-operative with variety of people in a team environment
