As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Installer to join our team.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Installer with a minimum of four years of field experience in sheet metal installation and/or HVAC installation. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, works well independently and as part of a team, and is committed to delivering exceptional service to customers.
The successful candidate will install, modify, and repair HVAC ductwork and related systems in residential, commercial, and retrofit environments while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Responsibilities
- Install HVAC ductwork, fittings, dampers, diffusers, and ventilation systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Measure, fabricate, and install sheet metal components
- Perform retrofit and renovation work on existing HVAC systems
- Coordinate with project managers, service teams, and other trades
- Ensure installations meet applicable codes and company standards
- Complete required documentation and job reports
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Provide professional customer service on every project
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of sheet metal installation experience
- Experience in commercial HVAC systems
- Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
- Strong understanding of HVAC installation practices and building codes
- Valid driver's licence with a clean abstract
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physically capable of lifting, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions
- Journeyperson certification is considered an asset but is not required
