Job Summary
ADM Ottawa Physiotherapy is seeking a passionate and reliable Reformer Pilates Instructor to provide private 1-on-1 Pilates sessions within our physiotherapy clinic. Sessions will take place in a private treatment/exercise room, with the opportunity to work collaboratively with physiotherapists to support client wellness, movement, strength, and safe exercise progression.
This is a part-time position to start, with availability needed on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Certification in Pilates instruction is not required, though previous Pilates teaching experience is considered an asset. The ideal candidate is professional, engaging, safety-focused, and comfortable working with clients of varying fitness levels and needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide private 1-on-1 Reformer Pilates sessions in a physiotherapy clinic setting
- Collaborate with physiotherapists to support client goals and safe exercise progression
- Demonstrate and teach proper form, technique, posture, and breathing
- Adapt sessions based on each client’s ability, comfort level, and goals
- Monitor clients during sessions to ensure safety and reduce risk of injury
- Create a positive, professional, and encouraging experience for clients
- Help maintain client satisfaction, engagement, and ongoing participation
- Keep the treatment/exercise space clean, organized, and welcoming
- Communicate any client concerns, limitations, or progress to the physiotherapy team as appropriate
Qualifications
- Experience teaching Pilates or leading exercise sessions is an asset
- Pilates certification is welcome but not required
- Strong communication skills and ability to give clear instructions
- Comfortable working one-on-one with clients in a private clinic setting

- Professional, dependable, and client-focused attitude
- Strong attention to safety, proper technique, and client satisfaction
- Ability to work collaboratively with physiotherapists and clinic staff
Schedule
Part-time to start, with availability preferred on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
