Precision Surface is looking for a motivated candidate to help us continue growing our company. We are looking for a machinist that has a minimum of two years experience working with large steel rolls and machining to required tolerances. They need to be able to complete their own setups, pay high attention to quality and be able to read/interpret drawings and blueprints. They must have the knowledge to fit and assemble components and grind parts to tolerances.
They must be able to be part of a team with a collective goal of success. We will be willing to teach applicant on cylindrical grinding, however, we require knowledge of the industrial grinding/machining field.
This is not a CNC machining position. Everything is done manual with large lathes.
They must have high school diploma, college education an asset. Trades education an asset.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
