Position: Warehouse Supervisor

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor who will be responsible for overseeing daily picking and accurate processing and shipping of incoming and outgoing loads. This role reports to Senior Operations Manager. The incumbent takes charge of the entire picking/packing/shipping/receiving process to ensure all orders are complete and meets transport deadline.
Responsibilities:
· Operations
o Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Pick & Pack team.
o Ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time.
o Monitor workflow and allocate resources to meet daily production targets.
o Coordinate with inbound, inventory, transportation, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations.
o Prioritize work based on customer requirements and shipping deadlines.
o Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
· Safety & Compliance
o Promote and maintain a safe working environment.
o Ensure compliance with all company policies, SOPs, and health & safety regulations.
o Conduct regular safety talks and workplace inspections.
o Report and investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns.
· Inventory Control
o Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
o Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
o Ensure proper product handling, storage, and rotation.
o Minimize product damage and shrinkage.
· Quality
o Ensure orders meet customer specifications and quality standards.
o Monitor packing quality and shipping accuracy.
o Address customer complaints related to warehouse operations.
o Maintain clean and organized work areas using 5S principles.
· People Leadership
o Lead, coach, and develop warehouse associates.
o Schedule staff to meet operational requirements.
o Conduct training and onboarding for new employees.
o Monitor attendance, productivity, and performance.
o Complete performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching.
o Foster a positive, respectful, and accountable team culture.
Qualifications & Key Competencies:
· Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
Experience in Pick & Pack, distribution, order fulfillment, or third-party logistics (3PL) operations.
· Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and shipping/receiving processes.
· Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF scanners, and Microsoft Office applications.
· Working knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and safe warehouse practices.
· Forklift & Reach Truck certification or the ability to obtain certification is a MUST.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, as operational requirements dictate.
Hours and Location:
· Monday to Friday: 8:00 - 04:30PM
· Terminal Location: Calgary, AB
Remuneration:
$24.00 - $27.00 per hour based on experience
