As e-Pubs coordinator at L3 MAS you will:
Reporting to the Technical Publications Supervisor, your role is to primarily coordinate the activities and efforts of the MHLH/MHP project team but also all other e-Pubs projects, as needed, to ensure that the requirements of the customers are clearly defined for each task and that delivery schedules are met for the projects you are responsible for.
To achieve this, you will be called upon to:
Analyze requirements and update processes;
Prepare estimates and estimate work packages;
Update monthly forecasts;
Create and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to ensure project monitoring;
Meet with clients;
Assist the supervisor in the organization of electronic publications working groups;
Ensure customer satisfaction;
Verify that the finished product conforms to the Statement of Work (SOW) and agreements;
Prepare monthly reports for customers;
Report on the activities and progress of the project;
Act on behalf of the supervisor in his or her absence.
Diploma or certificate in technical communications, engineering technology, or equivalent;
Minimum 5 years of experience in aeronautics (commercial and military aircraft, in particular helicopters is an asset);
Ability to write high quality reports and to have discussions with clients in both official languages;
Significant experience in the following:
Operational requirements :
- S1000D specification for document production and publication;
- Development and application of administrative rules specific to a project;
- Classification system in the S1000D tree structure and ATA standards;
- Structure for aerial vehicles;
- Follow-up on the progress of tasks, in a content management system, aimed at the deployment of the IETP;
- Simultaneous deployment of IETP in different locations, in connected and disconnected environments;
- Preparation of a content management system compatible with S1000D;
- Asset management;
- Use of a database to manage customer requirements;
- Analysis of customer requirements and assessment;
- Verification and validation of requirements, independently or as part of an integrated framework with other services and tools (eg: logistics database, maintenance database);
- Use of a configuration management system in the context of technical publications;
- Understanding of SOW and application to customer requirements.
Must be eligible for registration to the Controlled Goods Program;
Must be eligible to obtaining and maintaining the government of Canada’s “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance;
Location not accessible via public transportation, car required.
