We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist or apprentice to join our vibrant salon team. The Hair Stylist will be responsible for providing professional hair services, maintaining high sanitation standards, and promoting retail products to enhance client satisfaction.
Duties
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling according to client preferences.
- Deliver excellent customer service by understanding client needs and providing personalized recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all tools, equipment, and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
- Upsell retail products to clients to support their hair care routines and increase salon revenue.
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure a positive experience and foster long-term relationships.
- Stay current with the latest hair trends and , techniques.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect clients.
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques including cutting, coloring, and styling.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety protocols in a salon setting.
- Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining professionalism.
- good communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not required.
- A valid license or certification as required by regulations.
