We have extensive experience in the design of handling equipment, structural design, well control, and downhole tools for the drilling and well servicing industries. Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be either an Engineer or Technologist with hands on experience. This is a work from home position with some travel to sites required on occasion. The ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Design and drafting of manufacturing drawings for welded construction
- Design and drafting for various machine components
- Manufacturing drawings for downhole tools
- Assist with project coordination and administration
- Provide technical support to other team members
- Site inspections and component measurements, as required
Qualifications:
- A degree or technical diploma in design, drafting, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Solidworks or Autodesk Inventor
- General knowledge of fabrication practices and drawings
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
