Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender/Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong knowledge of the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender/server, you will be responsible for preparing cocktails, serving drinks and food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons. Your ability to manage time effectively and handle cash transactions will contribute to the overall success of our establishment.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries
- Operate the POS system efficiently, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
- Manage inventory levels by restocking supplies as needed and assisting in inventory counts
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders to customers at the bar
- Adhere to all local laws regarding alcohol service and maintain a responsible serving environment
- Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining proper cash handling procedures
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Strong knowledge of mixology, bartending techniques, and beverage preparation
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations related to food handling
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within the hospitality industry
