Continuing Care Assistants are responsible for providing direct and indirect Resident care under the supervision of the Charge Nurse and/or Director of Care. You will work within your scope of practice and follow established policies and procedures while providing and coordinating care with other Care Partners.

You'll work 80 hours and one night shift per two week period.

Responsibilities
- Provide personal hygiene, oral care, skin care, toileting, bathing, feeding, dressing and grooming, and emotional support
- Maintain confidentiality concerning residents, staff and organizational information
- Work within the CCA Scope of Practice
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhere to facility infection control policies
Qualifications
- Current Standard First-Aid and CPR certification (required)
- Successful completion or enrollment in a CCA program (required)
- Registered with the CCA Registry (required / qualified open work permit candidates welcome)
- Effective communication, both written and verbal in English
- Physically fit/able to perform physically demanding job duties
- Reliable and punctual with a good attendance record
