Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide expert patient care, develop personalized treatment plans, and assist patients in recovering mobility and improving their quality of life. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent patient communication skills, and experience working in hospital or acute care settings. The Registered Physiotherapist will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation services across diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and adults.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ physical conditions through detailed evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities to promote recovery.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly to optimize outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, management techniques, and home exercises.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans.
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients during therapy sessions.
- Stay updated on current physiotherapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development activities.
Experience
- Proven experience working in hospital or acute care environments is highly desirable.
- Experience with pediatric physiotherapy is a strong plus.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver patient-centered care with compassion and professionalism.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy practice is essential.
- Prior experience working with diverse patient populations enhances the ability to adapt treatment approaches effectively.
