Weston Foods is a leading North American bakery company with a specialized focus across all key bakery categories, including breads and rolls, donuts, pies, cakes, alternatives breads, and others. We bake our products in more than 30 bakeries across Canada and the USA, conducting our business with integrity, contributing to our communities, and fostering a respectful culture. We are building a culture of success here, and it depends on our people striving for greatness and having the courage and commitment to getting better every day.
We’re lifting up this new capability at Weston Foods, transitioning the existing responsibility from our parent company, George Weston Limited, as we foresee the sale of the bakery business to be complete by the end of 2021. The role is North American in scope, and is responsible for overseeing and leading relationships with banks and bank transactions in both Canada and the United States. You’ll work closely with our banking partners on payables, wire transfers and cash forecasting, review our legal agreements and contracts with those banks, and own ongoing improvements and process change management opportunities.
For a corporate finance professional with commercial customer support banking experience, this is a functional leadership opportunity to build and design the infrastructure of a new treasury management system for a leading North American bakery company.
