Fractional AI & IT Lead — Property Management & Construction

Visture is a vertically integrated property management and construction company — roughly 225 doors under management and several million in annual construction — built on strong operating discipline (EOS) and a values-first culture. We’ve done the strategic work and know exactly where we’re going: we’re becoming an AI-native company, and we’re looking for the person to help us build it.
The role
This is a hands-on, build-it role for someone who lives at the intersection of IT and AI. You’ll stand up the foundations of our AI transformation — agents and automations across leasing, sales/estimating, maintenance, finance, and construction — while also owning the practical, day-to-day IT that keeps a growing company running. We don’t have an internal IT person today, so you’ll wear both hats. You’ll report to our Integrator and work directly with the leadership team.
What you’ll do
- Stand up our core AI backbone: workflow automation, agents, integrations, logging, and governance.
- Connect and integrate the tools we already run — Buildium, QuickBooks Online, Co-construct, Float, Google Workspace, and ClickUp (our command centre).
- Build AI-assisted workflows one at a time, prove them, and roll them out — starting small and safe.
- Own everyday IT: accounts and access, security basics, endpoints, vendors, and helping the team use their tools well.
- Keep it safe: sensible guardrails, human approval where money or compliance is involved, and a clear audit trail.
What we’re looking for
- Real experience building AI / automation workflows (agents, APIs, no-code/low-code tools like Zapier, integrations between business systems).
- Solid IT / systems administration chops — Google Workspace admin, SaaS integration, access/security, endpoints, and general troubleshooting.
- Comfort connecting and moving data between business platforms safely.
Bonus points
- Familiarity with property management or construction software (Buildium, Co-construct, QBO, ClickUp).
- Background in data integration, security, or governance.
- You’ve helped a small or mid-sized company actually adopt AI — not just pilot it.
