We are hiring a Team Lead for our growing Personal Care Community. The primary responsibility of the Team Lead is to provide guidance and oversight to the PCA team in our Personal Care Home in Airport Heights. Duties and responsibilities would include, but not limited to, overseeing and performing medication administration for residents, training new PCA staff, aiding residents in personal care activities, hospitality services, and creating a warm and inviting culture for seniors to call home. This position reports directly to the Personal Care Home Manager.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following :
Education and Experience
- Supervisory experience of 1-2 years
- Experience in Medication Administration in a Personal Care Home Setting or Equivalent preferred; other equivalencies will be considered
- Experience in a health-related industry and/or with seniors is considered an asset.

- Desire to serve seniors;
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service;
- Desire and ability to both provide and exemplify exceptional care;
- Flexible to cater to resident needs;
- Problem-solving skills;
- Focus on confidentiality;
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, family, staff, and volunteers alike; and,
- Basic computer skills.
Certifications:
- We provide on-site training;
- First Aid Training
- TB Test
- Criminal and Vulnerable Record Check required;
