Adecco is currently hiring a
Truck Operations Representative (Logistics Planner) for a 1-year contract opportunity in Calgary, AB. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented logistics professional with strong experience in transportation operations, continuous improvement, and health & safety incident investigation.
In this position, you will support fuel delivery operations across Canada by coordinating carriers, improving transportation performance, and driving safety and efficiency initiatives through data-driven analysis and operational support.

Responsibilities
-
Support daily fuel delivery operations with internal teams and third-party carriers.

Monitor transportation performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Lead and support health & safety incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action tracking.

Analyze operational and safety data to identify trends and improve performance.

Maintain and update site maps and operational data for national customer networks.

Manage route disruptions, construction impacts, and delivery schedule changes.
-
Execute reroutes, redirects, and load holds using SAP systems.

Coordinate pump-outs, field inventory activities, and incident reporting in Enablon.

Manage operational communication channels and respond to carrier inquiries.

Oversee scheduling of additives, specialty products, and delivery requirements.

Track and report on downtime, downgrades, and product runouts.
Qualifications
-
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.

Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or operations.

Strong experience in health & safety incident investigation and root cause analysis.

Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives in operational environments.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume logistics environment.

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
