Position Summary
Talent Employment Inc. is hiring reliable and hardworking Dishwashers for clients across the GTA and Durham Region. We are seeking dependable individuals who can maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in fast-paced kitchen and hospitality environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
- Operate commercial dishwashing machines safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing and kitchen areas.
- Empty garbage and recycling bins as required.
- Sweep, mop, and clean kitchen floors and work areas.
- Ensure clean dishes and kitchen equipment are properly stored.
- Assist with basic kitchen cleaning and sanitation duties.
- Follow health, safety, food safety, and sanitation standards.
- Support kitchen staff with general cleaning duties as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous dishwasher, kitchen helper, or hospitality experience is an asset.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of basic cleaning and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry kitchen supplies and equipment as required.
- Good English communication skills.
- Flexible to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is an asset.
- Previous dishwashing or kitchen experience is an asset.
- Food Handler Certification is an asset.
- WHMIS certification is an asset.
