Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipelayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in laying pipelines for water, sewage, and other utility services. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, safety protocols, and the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment. As a Pipelayer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient installation and maintenance of piping systems.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain pipelines for water, sewage, and other utilities.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
- Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute pipeline projects efficiently.
- Conduct inspections of installed pipes to ensure proper alignment and integrity.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation or maintenance processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in pipelaying
- Good understanding of grades and reading grade stakes
- Familiarity with electrical systems related to pipeline installation is a plus.
- Strong ability to direct excavator operator
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines on the job site.
