We are seeking a Skilled Glazier who can step into a lead or senior installer role and contribute immediately. This position is ideal for a professional who takes pride in precision, prioritizes safety, and is looking for a long-term home with a growing company.
As we handle a diverse range of residential and commercial projects, we require a technician who is not only a master of the craft but is also fully certified to operate in complex job site environments.
Responsibilities
- Precision Installation: Install a variety of systems including frameless shower doors, custom mirrors, storefront systems, and interior office partitions.
- Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret architectural drawings, layouts, and field conditions to ensure flawless execution.
- Site Management: Perform accurate field measurements and assess structural integrity for glass mounting.
- Safety Leadership: Maintain high standards for quality and safety, ensuring all "Work at Heights" protocols are strictly followed.
- Team Coordination: Work efficiently as a lead or part of a team, communicating clearly with project managers to keep jobs on schedule.
Required Certifications & Qualifications
To ensure the safety of our team and compliance with site regulations, candidates must possess or be willing to maintain the following:
- Glazing Experience: Minimum of 2–3+ years of professional glazing experience.
- Work at Heights Certification: Current certification for working safely at elevated levels.
- Aerial Platform/Boom Lift Certification: Valid ticket for operating Boom Lifts and Scissor Lifts (AWP/MEWP).
- Safety Compliance: Knowledge of OSHA/OHS standards, including Fall Protection and proper PPE usage in a glazing environment.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift and handle heavy glass safely (utilizing team lifts and specialized equipment).
- Logistics: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
