Job description
Steamworks Brewery is currently hiring a Warehouse Assistant for our Brewery’s warehouse. This is a full-time position. Shifts will be either 10am-6pm or 12pm-8pm with preference given to someone with experience and a flexible schedule. A strong work ethic, ability to multitask and stay focused, capability of working individually as well as with a team, as well as a love for Steamworks beer is required.
Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading trucks and trailers with sit down counterbalance forklift/electric pallet jack
- Assist in scheduling, coordinating, and prioritizing deliveries with various warehouses and vendors
- Receive and process orders in ERP system (SAP)
- Distribute and maintain inventories of materials/supplies daily
- Daily inventory counting
- Adhere to company policies and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Assist in facility maintenance as required
- Various warehouse tasks
Qualifications:
- Ability to lift 80lbs
- Previous forklift experience and valid forklift ticket
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude & eagerness to learn
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Computer Savvy
- Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
- Class 5 Driver’s License (an asset)
