Essential Functions
-
Asset Inventory Management - Maintain accurate records of IT assets, including laptops, cell phones, and other equipment. Record and track serial numbers of all received equipment. Perform regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy.

Equipment Handling - Receive and inspect incoming IT equipment. Factory reset and prepare devices for deployment. Manage the lifecycle of IT assets from acquisition to disposal.

Onboarding Support - Prepare and configure laptops, cell phones, and other devices for new hires. Provide onboarding sessions for new employees, ensuring they are comfortable with their technology. Troubleshoot any initial setup issues and provide ongoing support as needed.

Employee Training - Conduct formal, virtual training and/or in-person sessions for employees. Develop training materials and ensure they are up to date with current best practices.
What You'll Need

Detail-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to manage and track detailed information accurately.

Persistent: Strong commitment to obtaining accurate information and ensuring compliance.

Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with factory-resetting phones and computers and configuring new devices.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as a part of a team

Experience: Previous experience in IT asset management, onboarding, or a similar role is preferred.

Knowledge: Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and practices.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform under pressure.

Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and other staff.

Proactive, highly organized, and able to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Experience working in a non-profit environment is a plus.

ITIL certification would be an asset, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Ability to travel on an as-needed basis to sites around Edmonton and northern Alberta.

Able to obtain a Police Information Check and Vulnerable sector and Child Intervention/Enhanced Security check

Must complete employer specific child abuse prevention training within 30 days of hire date
