Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Handle cash and process payments accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are consistently met in all areas
- Assist in food preparation and kitchen support as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized work station and adhere to sanitation protocols
- Manage time effectively during busy service periods to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; hospitality background preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, sanitation practices, and basic math for billing purposes
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and sales performance
- Basic kitchen experience or food preparation skills are a plus
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact with guests seamlessly
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed
