Employee Services Assistant
(1.0 FTE permanent position)
Under the direction of the Manager of Employee Services, the Employee Services Assistant will support the Employee Services Department in the areas of, Office Administration, Automated Callout System, Occupational Health and Safety, Internal and External Recruitment, Staff Orientations, Attendance Support, Employee Wellness, Return to Work, WSIB, Human Resources Information System and assists with Labour Relations.
The preferred candidate will have proven organizational skills as well as proficiency and experience in the application of Integrated HR/Payroll Systems and collective agreement administration. Experience working with Google Docs, Microsoft Word and Excel is required along with superior analytical and customer service skills. Attention to detail and accuracy are paramount and the ability to work with minimal supervision is required. The preferred candidate will be self-directed and possess a degree/diploma in Human Resources Management or have a combination of relevant education and experience. A CHRP designation will be considered an asset.
The successful applicant will be required to provide a Vulnerable Sector Screening document satisfactory to the Board as well as copies of their post-secondary degree/diploma.
