Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on automated equipment, including sensors, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and CNC machinery.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using schematics, AutoCAD drawings, and diagnostic tools.
- Repair and replace faulty sensors, motors, switches, and low voltage components to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings to accurately diagnose system problems.
- Assist in the installation, calibration, and commissioning of new automation systems and equipment.
- Support the development of system upgrades by collaborating with engineering teams to improve manufacturing efficiency.
- Maintain detailed maintenance logs, work orders, and safety documentation to ensure compliance with company standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance or as an industrial electrician within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and AutoCAD drawings.
- Hands-on experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), sensors, low voltage systems, and CNC machinery.
- Knowledge of electrical systems including troubleshooting electrical circuits and wiring.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD for drawing interpretation or modifications is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate technical issues across teams.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while maintaining safety standards.
