Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Prep Cook/Dishwasher to join our team. This role is vital in maintaining a clean, organized, and smoothly operating kitchen environment. Duties
- Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils promptly to ensure cleanliness and availability for food preparation
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, equipment, and dining areas in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with food handling and storage to ensure freshness and safety
- Support food presentation and basic food preparation tasks as needed
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and adherence to sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service experience
- Follow all safety guidelines related to food handling, cooking, and cleaning
Qualifications
- Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environments is preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and kitchen sanitation standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Basic understanding of food preparation and cooking techniques
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and cleanliness
- Ability to work well within a team and follow directions accurately
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
