SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Minimum 3 years’ experience of extrusion blow molding (EBM) experience as a process technician.
Looking for a team player who is self-efficient, capable of working alone and is safety conscious.
Able to complete a full setup from start to finish.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Includes mould changing and completing the initial setup procedures (installing moulds, tooling, calibrations etc.).
Capable of profiling, programming, setting cycle time, as well as start-up new jobs with no prior recipe provided.
Responsible for putting machines into production including trouble shooting machines, and product issues noted by the QA department.
Must perform all production functions and completes mould changes in a timely manner.
The primary objectives are to maximize machine operating time and maintain quality levels.
Responsible for changing moulds and all downstream equipment to meet production schedules.
Start up or shut down machinery.
Fine tune machines to improve production efficiencies and minimize cycle times.

EDUCATION:
Required: High School/Equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
Preferred: 5 years EBM Setup/Process, Some Multi-layer (co-extrusion) an asset to have
SKILLS:
Required: Able to lift 50+ lbs
Mechanical Setup & Changeover
Process Control & Parison Programming
Process & Defect troubleshooting
Preferred: Forklift training
