Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming environment.
- Drive sales by confidently promoting products, upselling and meeting weekly sales goals.
- Engage with customers to enhance their shopping experience by offering knowledgeable assistance and personalized recommendations.
- Operate the Point of Sale system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle exchanges and customer concerns with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Assist with weekly inventory counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Perform permanent jewelry services with precision, care and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales and customer service is required.
- A sales-oriented mindset with a genuine interest in helping customers find the right piece.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and an outgoing, friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Proficiency in operating Point of Sale systems, or a willingness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Interest in the jewelry and/or crystal industry.
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Availability required: Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
*Sales Associates earn an hourly wage plus commission, with the potential to boost their hourly rate by up to an additional $3/hour.
