Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Shuttle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers between designated locations, ensuring a positive experience through excellent customer service. This role requires a valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, and a focus on safety and maintenance of the vehicle. The Shuttle Driver plays a vital role in maintaining efficient transportation operations and supporting the overall success of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate shuttle vehicles along designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding, alighting, and answering questions professionally.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and proper functioning.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the shuttle vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch or management regarding route updates, delays, or incidents.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure passenger safety at all times.
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents or maintenance needs.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills in English for effective interaction with passengers and team members.
- Prior experience in commercial driving or transportation is preferred.
- Customer service orientation with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to operate and maintain shuttle vehicles responsibly and safely.
- Good physical condition to assist with passenger needs and vehicle maintenance tasks.
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with local routes.
Pay: $16.75-$18.00 per hour
