Baka Pozd Business Consultancy is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Executive to join our operations team in Toronto. This role is ideal for a professional who can efficiently manage procurement activities, build strong supplier relationships, and ensure the timely purchase of goods and services required to support daily business operations. The successful candidate will contribute to cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best quality products and services at competitive prices.
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to determine purchasing requirements.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Compare quotations, evaluate supplier performance, and recommend suitable vendors.
- Track purchase orders, deliveries, and resolve procurement-related issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and applicable regulations.
- Prepare purchasing reports and assist management with budgeting and procurement planning.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and procurement or ERP software.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
