UofA Homes is currently looking for a General Labourer to join our team for a seasonal construction/renovation project in Grande Prairie, Alberta.
Position: General Labourer
- Location: Grande Prairie, AB
- Job Type: Seasonal / Project-Based
- Wage: $18–$20/hour, depending on experience
- Project uplift bonus: $50/day (to be eligible, require to work 8hrs/day)
- Accommodation: will provide if needed
Job Duties
The successful candidate will assist with various general construction and renovation tasks, including:
- Loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Moving and handling construction materials on site
- Cleaning and removing debris from the job site
- Painting and touch-up work
- Installing flooring
- Assisting skilled trades and other workers as required
- Using basic hand and power tools, such as hammers, drills, and screwdrivers
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
Qualifications
- Previous construction or renovation experience is an asset, but training can be provided
- Comfortable performing physical work and lifting/moving materials
- Able to work safely and follow instructions
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team
- A positive attitude and good work ethic
