Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our restaurant management team, the Sous Chef will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and support the head chef in menu development and staff supervision. Duties
- Assist in supervising kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food preparation
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Oversee food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene compliance
- Support food presentation and serving to ensure customer satisfaction
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor stock rotation
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment
- Enforce food safety protocols and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
- Collaborate with restaurant management on menu planning, specials, and operational improvements
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment at all times
- Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Extensive restaurant management experience preferred
- Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and sanitation standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
