Leather Pocket Billiards is hiring a licensed Security Officer to support staff and customers during closing hours. This role is ideal for candidates who are dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a nightlife environment. This is a regular part-time position with stable weekly shifts.
Shift Schedule
- Monday–Friday: 11:00 PM – 2:00 AM
- Saturday–Sunday: 12:00 AM – 3:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and respectful environment for customers and staff
- Provide a visible security presence during closing hours
- De-escalate conflicts and manage disruptive behaviour
- Assist staff with closing procedures and monitor customer exits
- Conduct walk-throughs to ensure all areas are secure
- Respond to incidents and complete required reporting
Qualifications
- Valid Alberta Security License (required)
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Experience in hospitality or nightlife security is an asset
