Overview
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This role involves operating various types of heavy machinery to support construction. The ideal candidate will have experience with heavy equipment operation ensuring safe and efficient job site operations.
Duties
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers and loaders to complete assigned tasks efficiently and safely
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols
- Drive commercial vehicles to transport materials between sites or to designated locations
- Assist with minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to maintain equipment functionality
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to minimize risks on the job site
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines
Requirements
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, or loaders
- Basic automotive repair skills are a plus for maintaining equipment
- Strong attention to safety protocols and operational procedures
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads, work in outdoor environments, and operate machinery for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
