Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in food preparation according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- Assist with food plating and garnishing to ensure visually appealing dishes
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Support the team during busy service periods by ensuring timely meal delivery
- Adhere to health regulations and safety protocols within the kitchen environment
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
Experience
- Prior experience 1-2 year in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience working in the food industry or restaurant setting is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions and collaborate effectively
Pay: $17.60 per hour
