Job Description:
The Cedar House Birth Collective is a group of midwives and family doctors providing low to high risk maternity care in the Comox Valley. The collective is excited to onboard two part-time registered nurses to support both antepartum and postpartum care. Clinical work could include individual prenatal interactions, prenatal group care, phone calls with results and labs, general postpartum, breastfeeding, and mental health support.
Positions available:
1 clinic RN positions, 0.5 FTE (2.5 days per week, flexible hours)
Contract time frame:
June 1st, 2026- May 31st, 2027 with possibility of renewal annually.
Remuneration:
A maximum of $66,500.00 per year for a 0.5 FTE position.
Qualifications:
RN designation.
Strong perinatal and postpartum skills including breastfeeding support.
Passion for families and birth.
Innovative and self-directed.
Team-based mindset.
