Position Overview:
Reporting to the Manager, Golf Operations, the Outside Services Attendant is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of play on the golf course by managing tee times, greeting golfers, and providing assistance as needed. As the first point of contact for golfers, it is integral to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere at the Redwoods Golf Course.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet golfers upon arrival, assist with loading and unloading golf bags
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service
- Coordinate and manage tee times for golfers
- Assist golfers as needed at the first tee and on the course
- Communicate course information such as conditions, rules, promotions, etc.
- Ensure golfer compliance with course policies
- Keep track of start and finish times in the POS system
- Monitor pace of play on the course and address any issues promptly and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the starter shed, rental clubs, first tee and practice green
- Clean power carts and pull carts
- Set up tournament related infrastructure such as tents, on course signage etc.
- Perform light course maintenance duties such as sanding and seeding divots, repairing ball marks, trimming blackberry bushes, cleaning up trash, etc.
- Other duties as assigned

- Fully proficient in spoken and written English with other language(s) considered an asset
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the game of golf as well as it’s rules and etiquette is required
- Willingness to complete a Police Information Check is required
- Valid Basic First Aid, CPR and AED Certification, or equivalent will be required to be maintained during employment
- Experience as a Starter or Marshal is an asset
