The Night Cleaning Attendant plays a vital role in creating the clean, safe, and welcoming environment that YMCA members count on every day. Working behind the scenes, you'll help ensure our facilities are ready to support thousands of health, wellness, and community-building experiences, making a direct impact on member satisfaction, safety, and the overall YMCA experience.
- Compensation: $19.05 per hour
- Paid vacation, wellness, and family responsibility days

- Annual Y pension of 5% (after 2 years)
- Reporting to: Housekeeping Supervisor
- Location: H2O Adventure + Fitness Centre
- Schedule: Part-time evening/night shifts (starting as late as 9:00 PM)

As a Night Cleaning Attendant, you will help create a positive member experience by maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming YMCA facilities.
- Clean and maintain public, program, and staff areas during after-hours operations.
- Complete scheduled cleaning tasks and ensure facilities meet YMCA cleanliness standards.
- Work independently and collaboratively to support daily operations and facility readiness.
- Communicate professionally with staff and members, responding to facility-related needs as appropriate.
- Identify and report maintenance, safety, or operational concerns.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and special projects that enhance the member experience.
- Experience in cleaning or a related field
- OFA Level 1 certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Ability to communicate effectively (spoken, written, and reading English)
