Responsibilities

- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, encouraging healthy eating habits.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and enhance overall well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces.
- Monitor clients’ health status, report changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals or family members.
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques to prevent injury for both clients and caregivers.
Skills
- Proven experience in assisted living settings or nursing homes with a strong understanding of senior care practices.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or those experiencing dementia, demonstrating patience and adaptability.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols.
- Skilled in caregiving tasks such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and home care routines.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion while maintaining professionalism.
- Physical stamina to support clients in mobility activities and perform household tasks efficiently.
