Currently, Drewlo Holdings has an opportunity for a Subdivision Engineering Project Manager to join our team in London, ON.

As a Subdivision Engineering Project Manager, your responsibilities are as follows:

Main Responsibilities

  • Advance all aspects of projects including execution of development approvals, site servicing, construction, building permits and other similar responsibilities
  • Provide experienced and skilled engineering and management of high rise site plans and subdivisions, and land development projects from proposal stage through construction; projects could include the following aspects:
  • Water storage, supply and distribution
  • Sanitary sewage pumping, collection
  • Storm water management
  • Road construction and design including surface works
  • Site servicing
  • Site grading and drainage
  • Water resources
  • Prepare documents required for approvals, development and construction cost estimates and tender documents and contracts
  • Provide president & management with timely and accurate reporting for projects including scheduling and budget updates
  • Communicate and work in an integrated team environment to ensure project schedules, budgets, and quality control standards are achieved and maintained
  • Lead effective and efficient meetings with internal management, external consulting teams, municipal officials, partners and others
  • Manage third party engineers on long-term projects
  • Provide support to Development and Construction leads
  • Coordinate on site construction services, meet on site, and report back to management

Skills and Experience

  • Degree in Civil Engineering with 10+ years experience at the senior level & progressive experience in municipal and land development engineering
  • Registration in good standing as an engineer in Ontario
  • Experience as a Project Manager, successfully delivering projects on budget and schedule
  • Demonstration of excellent writing skills is essential in the preparation of proposals and technical reports
  • Proven design abilities, including working use of design software (e.g. AutoCAD / Civil 3D)
  • High productivity, attention to detail and an ability to work well in a team environment are essential
