· Excellent written and oral communication.
· Assess the developmental level of children.
· Prepare progress reports and monthly lesson plans.
· Establish and maintain Montessori classroom culture, prepare materials, and maintain all units of study.
· Able to follow Ministry of Education guidelines.
· Develop and implement daily activities for children.
· Nurtures independence, self-esteem and success in students
· Patient enthusiastic enjoys working with children age 2.3 to 6 years old.
Qualifications:
· Candidate must have: AMI or MACTE accredited Montessori Training diploma or EARLY CHILDHOOD diploma
· Working childcare experience at least 2 years (an asset)
· Familiar with Montessori pre-casa/casa materials and practices.
· Police Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening no more than 6 months old
· Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
· Up to Date Immunizations
· Fluency in English is a must
