Job Overview
Starline Developments is seeking a professional, experienced Site Superintendent to lead daily construction operations across multi-residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate is hands-on, highly organized, and strong at coordinating trades while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and site cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all on-site construction activities
- Coordinate and manage trades and site personnel
- Ensure work complies with drawings, building code, and company standards
- Conduct quality control checks and identify deficiencies early
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Assist with developing and maintaining project schedules
- Review materials, methods, and recommend best practices
- Conduct daily reporting and communicate clearly with the project team
- Maintain organized site documentation including daily reports, updated drawings, safety forms, and company templates
- Assist in improving and standardizing company documentation and reporting processes
- Ensure OHSA standards and site safety programs are followed
- Support inspections, site logistics, and close-out processes
Requirements
- 5+ years experience as a Site Superintendent
- Strong understanding of Ontario Building Code, including Part 3 and Part 9
- Demonstrated ability to manage and communicate effectively with trades
- Excellent knowledge of construction materials and current building methods
- Proven track record of keeping clean, safe, organized job sites
- Strong planning, scheduling, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
- Valid driver’s license; reliable daily transportation
