Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Pizza Maker to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality pizzas and other menu items in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Pizza Maker will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our customers through their culinary expertise and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients according to established recipes and standards
- Cook pizzas to perfection using appropriate methods and equipment
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations
- Serve customers promptly and courteously, taking orders accurately when needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
- Assist with food preparation for other menu items as required
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred, especially with food preparation or cooking roles
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures is essential
- Experience in the food industry, particularly in pizza making or meal preparation, is highly desirable
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment used for baking and cooking pizzas is a plus
- Strong serving skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are important qualities for success in this role
