Overview

Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to food safety regulations
- Supervise kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
- Manage food handling procedures to maintain hygiene and safety standards
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless serving and customer satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste to optimize kitchen resources
- Develop new menu items in line with current culinary trends and guest preferences
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area and ensure compliance with health codes
- Lead by example in demonstrating professionalism, leadership, and teamwork within the culinary team
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Supervising experience or team management skills are highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and handling procedures
- Excellent leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Familiarity with restaurant management operations is preferred
- Exceptional skills in food industry practices, including kitchen experience and hospitality standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
