Job Overview:
As a Material Handler / Order Picker at our tire store, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing inventory. Your primary responsibility will be to safely handle, pick, and pack tires and related products for customer orders, as well as assist in various warehouse tasks to support store operations.
Responsibilities:
Utilize picking lists or electronic scanners to locate and retrieve tires and automotive accessories from designated storage areas within the warehouse.
Prepare customer orders for shipment by packaging tires securely and labeling packages with appropriate shipping labels and documentation.
Inspect tires for any visible damage, defects, or irregularities before packing them for shipment.
Work collaboratively with other warehouse staff, sales associates, and management to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in picking, packing, and labeling customer orders.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others as needed.
